Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
